The best asset of this hotel is the staff who were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very well-appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was typically continental, with a lot to choose from. It was served in a fabulous baroque dining room. We wanted to explore the historic centre of Naples and this hotel is well-located to do so. We left the guys at home and did a sister trip across Italy, which commenced in Naples. This classy five star hotel was a fabulous way to deal with jet lag! After having spent time in Rome and the mountains of Italy, Naples is completely different. It's more dirty than the other cities we visited in Italy but the people are very warm and welcoming. Heed the warnings and do not travel with expensive jewelry. The scenery from the windows with a view of the port are beautiful.
