  excellent location on main street close to everything, nice superior room, clean and spacious for italian standard, parking availabele, friendly and helpfull staff - The hotel was very beautiful, especially the exterior and the interior had lovely old fixtures and photographs.   The hotel is centrally located on Lido Island. The hotel and room were very clean and modern. Breakfast was served in a bright room and was what you expect (meats cheeses, rolls, coffee...). The hotel is located just off main street that has lots of restaurants and shopping. The beach is a 5 minute walk and is great for shell collecting! Overall a nice quiet place to stay away from the crowds of V - The staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. They kindly provided useful information and tips for touring Venice. The room was clean and quiet, it was spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. The air-condition was adequate. The hotel was located away from the main street. At first, we had some difficulty to find it. But once we found it, it was very easy. We enjoyed our staying.

Lido is SO MUCH quieter than Venice, with a nice sandy public beach just 5 minutes the other direction.   Liked everything about this hotel. Calm location away from the tourist hassle and just 5­-7 min walk from piazza San Marco. May be a bit far from the train station but for us it was not a problem, walking through Venice is a pleasure of its own. Besides you can always take a vaporetto which stops nearby.
