  I have to say I was a bit nervous staying here after reading a lot of bad reviews but as most of Florence was booked out- we went ahead with it. I dont understand any of the bad reviews- the room was so clean- there was a mini bar, the street is so safe, there was no noise from bathroom plumbing and the lady running the place- is so helpful and fr... ce que les gens disent » iendly. There is a laundromat downstairs- so close to every attraction! - We really enjoyed staying in Locabndo Gallo. The staff was excellent. They are extremely friendly. They gave us very good suggestions for places to visit and dine. You should definitely follow their suggestions. The hotel is also located on a very convenient place, it is just 15 min walk form main train station and maybe 10-15 min walk from touristic places. The room is like you can see from the pics.

Florence centre is very complicated for driving and doesn't have free parking places for non-residents. Marissa, the manager, was very generous with her knowledge of the events, sights, and recommendations.   Great location near train station and city center, supermarkets and bars next to the hostel. Staff very friendly, we felt that they realy take care of us. We were arriving late at night but received detailed instruction how to enter our room and we could check in next day - it was nice because we were tired and could go directly to the room.
