An easy walk from Piazzale Roma bus station and Santa Lucia train station (no boat to catch, no dragging suitcases through the heavy tourist traffic). There was absolutely no noise from the train station or the canal adjacent the apartments.
Due to the location you do not get large numbers of passers by, so very peaceful.

The apartment was a lovely surprise. The building is quite new on two levels curving around a canal with a residential piazza at the front. The apartment we had is upstairs, sparkling clean, light, comfortable and well equipped. It is located a 10 minute walk from the station. We couldn't find it immediately but on the second walk past we realised that each house has its own number in the locality, rather than a street number. We loved the place. It's a very well appointed place with excellent decor and furniture. The beds were so comfy and the bathroom shower area was really spacious. The Corte 1321 is located at the Rialto Bridge end of Venice with easy access to the Vaporetto stops. The host Maria was excellent and very knowledgable and helpful, our kids thought she was wonderful.

We loved our stay at Morante Apartment in Cannaregio Venice. I mixed up the dates of our booking & arrived 1 day earlier than my actual check in date. The staff, claudia, was very helpful & polite in allowing me & my family to check in early without charging anything extra - as we were making our way to venice from milan. The apartment was large & comfortable & quite central to everything. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable & accommodating our early check in!
