We had a very spacious corner room with high seilings, so it never got very hot and it was enough to switch the air conditioner on for a couple of hours in the evening to keep the room cool all night.   Good location, only about 20 min walk to main town and 5 min walk to central train station. Spacious rooms, but lacking proper wardrobe and coat hangers. It has a small kitchen anex, which was very convenient. The manager Elvis was very helpfull in trying to sort out the transport to Lajatico for us. I would also mention that when my wife and I just arrived, Ervis, a staff member gave us a thorough introduction about Florence, which was really help.   This is not really a hotel but an apartment that has been converted into bedrooms, some with en suite showers. We lucked out by having the one room with air-conditioning, an unexpected bonus. Overall, would recommend.

  The B&B Marbo Florence was a terrific stay. I did book a triple room which was very roomy and good bathroom. A most comfortable might've sleep. The stay was friendly and very comfortable. I felt very at home and so much like a family, I nearly left my door open at night as I would in my family home. I had trouble with a package - During our 2 weeks in Italy, we stayed in 7 hotels & B&B Marbo was our favorite. The duomo was just a 5 min walk. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a residential building, there is an elevator. It has been completely remodeled & is larger than most rooms & baths. We were two but the room was for three so it was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was ok with hot water available at all times. The room was cleaned daily. If your the kind of traveler that's into going out and seeing all that Florence has to offer, as opposed to being seen in fancy hotel lobby, this is the place for you. Marissa, the manager, was very generous with her knowledge of the events, sights, and recommendations. The manager at the Aramis B&B was very helpful with giving my girlfriend and I local information and tips on the best restaurants. The accommodation was extremely clean and they made us feel very welcome. I would defiantly recommend to a friend.
