Hosts Viviana and Paulo made us welcome from the moment we walked through the gate. Their place is welcoming and relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. Viviana even showed us how to catch the bus and where to visit in Florence. Her daily treats and well stocked complimentary fridge were well received. We ate at the local restaurant six nights - another of Viviana's suggestions - fantastic. The quality of this place was great.

  Palazzo Alfani was perfect, a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, local hints and restaurant recommendations. We had a huge apartment, with separate bedroom with afresco ceiling, lovely shower and bathroom, and really well equipped kitchen and living area with enough basic essentials to get you started. Right opposite to LE ACADEMIA , Francesca was wonderful and helpful in every way. we will strongly recommend Palazzo Alfani al David and we are already planning on our next trip to Florence and intend to stay there again

We arrived with a taxi and took a bus to Florence central- very regular busline, a 10 minute ride and tickets for the bus were provided us by the B&B-owner, we returned them the next day- very helpful. It is about 10 mins walk and once you pass the bridge take the first right turn up a liitle lane. There is a pub and shop on the corner. We were on the ground floor room with direct access to a lovely garden. Our room was pristine clean with a fresh bouquet of lar
