Great location, right in the center of the old town. The owner is awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable. The apartment rooms are huge, and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, including a stove with 4 burners and an oven.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alpino. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff attentive to our needs. We stayed three nights, and ate at the hotel restaurant all three - there was simply no reason to look for anything better. We got great advice for nearby hiking and sightseeing possibilities. Highly recommended!

Very welcoming owner and staff.
Easy (free) parking in spacious grounds. Barga's historic centre and some excellent restaurants an easy
5-10 minute walk away. Large pool not yet in use in
early May but would be great in summer.

Small, local and intimate hotel with friendly staff. Would make an excellent larger family break if you could rent all three rooms, we will certainly consider this for the future -
impeccable!!! Totally new and beautifully designed, modern furnishing and lovely art; Fluffy towels and excellent bed, with a free mini bar.
