It proved an oasis in a sea of travel - at a time when we were beginning to tire of our journey, our hosts cared for us in a very homely yet efficient way. Loved all of it. Joan and Eamonn were perfect hosts and the breakfasts were to die for. The best value for money and most enjoyable stay of the trip. -

who immediately guessed who we were before we even introduced ourselves!

immediately began advising us to get out and about, exciting us with all
the - Bridget and Conor were very welcoming upon arrival at Gleannn Fia Country House. The grounds are beautiful, nestled along a babbling stream in a very peaceful, serene and quiet setting. Aftternoon tea was a special treat, as were the delicious breakfasts. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Fantastic attention to detail with everything. Our room overlooking the
river at the back was out of this world. The breakfast was the best of
the best we have ever experienced. The friendly welcome by Eileen with
the offer of a cup of tea on the afternoon we arrived was a lovely
gesture. This was our 2nd visit from Sydney in 3 years to Crystal
Springs and was as good as ever. Indeed a wonderful experience and a
great plus for Killarney.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating.
The location is just outside the the town centre but with a busy fair on, this made the location perfect - peaceful and quiet and right on the Ring of Kerry.

The lady owner is extremely courteous and friendly. She provided us with plenty of information on hiking trails and treated us to a delicious sweet and a cup of tea in her dining room when we arrived, exhausted after hiking for 6 hrs. We stayed in the self contained apartment adjoining the house and were greeted with tea and biscuits on arrival. Joan and her helpers couldn't be more welcoming and easy going. We had wonderful time. Joan is very kind,very good to give advice and treat everyone like special guest. We got bigger room with king bed. Room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast very nice.
