  What a Gem. I booked here because it was cheap,but I was pleasantly surprised at what I got. Breakfast was super freshly cooked.The staff where warm and oh so helpful. Location was superb right in the centre with views over river. How they can do it for 60€ pe - Loved the friendliness of the staff they were all excellent, stowed our bags for us before and after check-out too, so we could do more sightseeing. The beds were very comfy and clean linen, good signal on the TV. The breakfast was very plentiful and had lots of choice. Place was like a tardis! Represented good value for our money, near enough to bus links etc, but far enough away to give an undisturbed nights sleep. Liked the key-code entry to bedrooms.

As my mother lived close by I asked Nuala, the proprietor, whether my mother could join me for breakfast on the first morning. Not only was my mother made welcome but Nuala also provided a complementary breakfast for my sister, who had just flown in from Miami that morning!

  The host, Bernadette was a delight. She was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. When I became ill, Bernadette allowed an extra late check-out which was much appreciated. Her B&B is lovely. It is spacious and comfortable and quiet and decorated in a cosy style. We had a back room overlooking a garden so was extra quiet..
