Buswells Hotel is very well located for sightseeing and shopping in Dublin. At the same time the hotel is situated in a very quiet spot in the heart of the city, and you can sleep your night in peace. Lovely old-fashioned atmosphere, friendly staff and very confortable rooms. Bar and lobby are welcoming. Ask for a room with a wifi. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was a short walk into the city to visit the sites, shopping and dining. Maurice was also very helpful by zllowing us access to our rolm a little earlier due to our arrival time in Dublin. We've booked another night there when we return from our travels around Ireland. -

The biggest benefit is that there is a bar downstairs which is very useful for a tired traveller :).

situation géographique - L'hôtel est vraiment bien situé, très proche des quartiers animés mais dans un environnement calme. Chambre de bonne qualité, propreté excellente, décoration classique mais soignée. Bon petit déjeuner continental ou irlandais.

Loved the room. (Room 202). When you went in the room door there was a living room area with 2 arm chairs, coffee table, fire place, TV, and an eating table with 2 chairs. Excellent value. I was worried about all the reports on noise, but it didn't bother me at all. It is fairly clear that it is going to be noisy anyway. Anyone complaining about this has been warned by other reviews and by the hotel's own website. It is ideal for anyone on a budget. Drinks were 2.50 at the bar and a large selection of meals from 6euro. If you prefer to be part of the party this place is great for you.

The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was a nice size, and the staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. This hotel is perfect if you want to be right smack in Temple Bar, you don't mind the sound of drunken laughter until all hours of the night and/or you are a heavy sleeper.
