Buswells Hotel is very well located for sightseeing and shopping in Dublin. At the same time the hotel is situated in a very quiet spot in the heart of the city, and you can sleep your night in peace. Lovely old-fashioned atmosphere, friendly staff and very confortable rooms. Bar and lobby are welcoming. Ask for a room with a wifi. Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! My room was huge, containing a large double and two single beds, this
was not an 'upgrade', I had paid for a non refundable room in
advance. Staff all friendly and very helpful, in particular the girl who
checked me in, didn't get her name, but she's off to Ibiza on
holiday shortly! Lovely courtyard out back with waitress service (food
and drink) and where smoking is permitted. Highly recommended.

Staff were very accomodating,as two young people most hotels assume we will be noisey,they did their very best to treat us equally and were very polite and proffesional at all times,there was a bit of a mix up with our booking when we arrived they did not have our booking on the computer but the gent at the reception was most helpful and fixed us a room immedietly even giving us the best room in the hotel for the same price it was relaxed and we felt very welcome i would definatley stay here ag
