Our room overlooked the river and was tastefully decorated in white & cream, I would say 'shabby chic' style. It had a jacuzzi bath in the bedroom part but it had curtains to allow privacy if desired. There was a separate shower room with toilet. Tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, toiletries etc were provided and last but not least

We loved the location it was a couple of minutes walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The B&B is beautiful inside and out, decor is vintage chic and the room we had (6) was very spacious. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful place to stay. The friendliness of Des, who greeted me and made sure that my stay was amazing. The outstanding cleanliness of my room and the whole building was amazing. room, recommended some pubs and sites and was gracious and helpful, as
well as discreet. The room was warm, well appointed and very

The staff were very efficient, friendly and always available to ensure one's comfort and satisfaction. Food was excellent and breakfast team went that extra step to welcome and offer assistance. The staff is incredibly kind. From check in to departure. Kathryn at the desk and all her assistants. In the dining room and pub area , Thomas , David and Anthony are superb. The rooms are comfortable and it is a great value. Proximity couldn t be beat. Close to all the attractions. My second time there. I wouldn t even consider a different locale.

A very enjoyable stay, great location. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Geraldine made us feel ' at home' from the start, so friendly and welcoming. We especially liked that there was a seperate lounge where guests were able to read/watch tv and make tea/coffee.Lovely home cooked breakfast We would definitely recommend McCarthys

It was very easy to find on the way into the town and only 5minutes walk. Staff were very friendly, especially the young girl who booked us in. We arrived on motorbikes and with the very hot weather and bike clothing etc, we were a bit exhausted. Lovely welcome on arrival, we arrived later than advertised check in
time, but we rang ahead to check this was ok. Michael and Noreen were
very accomodating . on arrival Noreen made us tea and gave us buns and
chatted us. Rooms very clean , beds very comfortable. Tasty excellent

Friendly staff, beautiful food, comfy beds, HUGE bathroom, Wifi/ The moment that we got there we were greeted by the owner who refereed to us both using our names, which made us instantly feel welcome. The breakfast the next morning was beautiful! Better than any hotel I have ever stayed in! 5 Star
