We were offered tea and coffee on our arrival by a very friendly member of staff. We booked a twin room as I was travelling with my friend and her young child. When booking it said that the twin room had a double and single bed in it which was perfect for us. however when we were shown to our room, we had a double bed each. the room was perfect for us as it appeared we had the luxury of a family room. Myself and my fiacnce travel quite a lot and the wesport plaza has to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in, excellent staff, service,food and comfort, will most certainly be back. - Everything. The room, the staff, the food - the hotel was excellent and I would highly recommend it.

The air of enjoyment. I was there with my son who was home from Australia and my youngest son and his wife. They loved everything about the hotel and would certainly visit it again. The staff were very efficient, friendly and always available to ensure one's comfort and satisfaction. Food was excellent and breakfast team went that extra step to welcome and offer assistance. The staff is incredibly kind. From check in to departure. Kathryn at the desk and all her assistants. In the dining room and pub area , Thomas , David and Anthony are superb. The rooms are comfortable and it is a great value. Proximity couldn t be beat. Close to all the attractions. My second time there. I wouldn t even consider a different locale.

amazing price-got 2 nights bed and breakfast and a 3 course evening meal for 148 euro for 2 people al inclusive, however, we found out it was a typo, but the hotel honoured the price - nice friendly atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful. food served was excellent

A very enjoyable stay, great location. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Geraldine made us feel ' at home' from the start, so friendly and welcoming. We especially liked that there was a seperate lounge where guests were able to read/watch tv and make tea/coffee.Lovely home cooked breakfast We would definitely recommend McCarthys

It was very easy to find on the way into the town and only 5minutes walk. Staff were very friendly, especially the young girl who booked us in. We arrived on motorbikes and with the very hot weather and bike clothing etc, we were a bit exhausted. Staff were very friendly. The room was spacious, clean and we could not fault it. Shower was excellent- beautiful room. quiet and warm. Location very good- close to Spa, tennis court and Westport town. Parking. Breakfast was delicious- staff very efficient and helpful. Would not hesitate to book again!

i found my stay at your hotel excellent, you had everything a guest would need and more, i was amazed at how well you cater for children, and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. - The leisure facilities were excellent. The hotel was very comfortableand relaxing and the food was very good.

All the above and the quality of the interior design of the rooms and the spa as well as the spaciousness , light, views from the dining room and fine dining - fantastic - The hotel room was just fabulous. Nicest hotel i have stayed in. I recently stayed in the G hotel in Galway and this hotel is equally as nice.

It was raining on the day we arrived on our motorbike and Margaret couldn't have been more helpful - drying jackets, etc, welcoming us with a much needed pot of tea & even driving us into town! Our room was clean & comfy - good value for money. Very friendly and Margaret provided good advice on local amenities and the best routes for sight

Very friendly welcome and the staff's genuine interest in their guests, what they wanted to do and where they were from. They offered lots of very helpful advice and information to help get the best from the area. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with all of the facilities you would expect. Breakfasts are excellent and really set you up for the day. Adare House is a credit to the owners/staff.
