  Our trip to the Ash Grove House was wonderful, the staff was helpful and extremely friendly. They went out of their way to help us and make our stay wonderful. Breakfast in the morning was great, the food was yummy and personalized. They made wonderful dinner recommendations and were so accommodating! The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and decorated - Everything. It was easy to find, had parking, warm greeting, very nice room, comfy beds, easy walk into Galway and the sites with information provided by the manager. We are two girlfriends travelling and felt very safe. Breakfast was delicious...we actually booked because of the other comments on the pancakes and they did not disappoint . The salmon and eggs were divine as well. Great choice.

  The most fantastic water heater I've ever experienced in a hotel--the water was hot in seconds! They should also list that rooms have a hair dryer--that's a plus, but they didn't advertise it. The staff is very friendly, the location is very good (close to town centre, and also to NUI university where I had to be), breakfast is very nice. This time we brought our 8-month baby and this also went very well: we got a baby cot and a room with quite some floor space, so he could play nicely on the warm carpet.

  We particularly appreciated the honesty and friendliness of our hosts, Don & Mary Deacy.   The location was ideal. Just a short walk into town. The owner of the B&B (cant remember his name) was great. He was so nice and chatted with us for awhile. We had a group of 4, only stayed one night but I would stay again.

  Helen was absolutely wonderful. She was most helpful and her and her staff were beyond kind. The College Crest House has a true "home" feeling, and you will feel so welcome! The location is also wonderful- right next to the bus station and the city center- a 2 minute walk! Each morning you are asked what you would like for breakfast (a real irish ... ce que les gens disent » breakfast) and they cook it for you; one of the best parts of being in Ireland! - A beautiful and clean house - the room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful - apart from a full Irish breakfast freshly made from the kitchen, there was also ample choices of fruit, cereal, juice etc to add to that. The place was also close to the city. So you'd get a b&b experience without having to go far out from the city.

  Accommodation in Galway is generally quite expensive, but St Judes' Lodge was good value for money. The rooms were basic, but immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfast (for €6 per person) was excellent and well worth it. St Judes is just a short stroll (10 minutes) to Eyre Square.
