  The staff was so nice and very helpful! We got into the hotel really late (about 4 am) and they held our breakfast the next morning for us so we could sleep in, without us asking. It's a quick easy walk to the Sacred Monkey forest.   The location of the Indigo Villas is amazing - in the middle of the rice paddies, in a very quiet area. The rooms themselves were also amazing - not so much in terms of traditional comfort (although that was fine too), but mostly because of the special design of the rooms and the furniture, all quite unique. The Villas also provided free transport... ce que les gens disent » ation to and from Ubud, which was great because it's about a 20 min walk from the city. There's restaurants in that area though, so one could easily h - Indigo Villas is just beautiful: we stayed in the Honeymoon Room, and it was comfortable and romantic. The staff are all wonderful, helpful, and very friendly. This is a much more intimate, "boutique" experience than staying in a huge hotel or locked away in a private villa. Breakfasts were delicious, and the horizon pool spectacular. Although Indigo is a 10-15 minute drive from Ubud town, free transit with reliable and friendly drivers is available when you want it. Highly recommended.
