  It doesn't look much from the outside but actually it was a nice little place. The room was small but comfortable and clean with a desk, a comfy single bed a wardrobe etc. Really good, well equipped kitchen and really nice shower/bathroom. The wifi worked fine for me, although the lady in the next room had problems. I would stay there again. The second set of linen etc was arranged in 5 mins. The shared kitchen has full set of equipment including pots, frying pans etc. Besides you can buy some food right in the hostel. There are two WCs

  Our 2 night stay in Langahlid (number 3) was by far the highlight of our 2 week honeymoon in Iceland. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer here! The houses are superbly equipped from coffee machine to hot tub to gas bbq and impeccably clean (I couldn’t believe our house was built in 2006). We enjoyed a lovely coffee and chocolat - Everything! A wonderful place in a beautiful spot. It was comfortable, and obviously built with great care and attention to detail. Also, a great price, we feel like we got more than we paid for. There is a great hike if you follow the gravel road up the hill behind the cabin that goes up and over a series of waterfalls, and I think eventually up to a lake, but we started too late and were running out of daylight after we got up past the third waterfall.   Location, location, location!! At the entrance to a spectacular fjord, scenery and wildlife abound. The cooked dinners were excellent, showcasing great home cooking of produce grown onsite, or at least, caught in the neighbourhood.
