The waitress/cook was a charming elderly woman (who doesn't speak english, but that was all the more fun). The view from the place is great. There is a small shop on the ground where you can get some groceries - The facilities, the service, the friendliness of the owner, the atmosphere, the location, all are exceptional. The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.

  Fantastic resort. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The stand out was the friendliness of the staff - they were extremely helpful, from telling us the best places to eat and drink in town and making reservations for us, to organising a packed breakfast for us when we had to leave very early on our last day. There are lots of fre - As people have always been my first priority while travelling I can't help saying a few words about the staff.. They are very professional, useful, always ready to help and superfriendly. All of them,starting from the reception guys and finishing by our housemaid, did their best to let us feel like at home. I did regret we were staying only six days It was really sad to leave.

  The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and the pool areas, bar and restaurant are adjacent to the sea with great views of the area. It is well located to supermarkets and other restaurants and is either a short car or bus ride to the main centre of Chania. The staff could not have been more helpful and even advised of traditional local restaurants and checked to see - The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

  I really have to say that this is a very very nice and friendly hotel. Not only the value for money but also the location and Design of the hotel. It is a small boutique hotel with a good spa shop and friendly atmosphere. And there is George, the owner of the hotel bar. I have to say that this guy really made our holidays.   Everything is beyond any expectation! The personnel is warm, friendly and always there to assist, with a smile. Warm and relaxing environment and decoration.
