Perfect location, it takes you about 10 minutes to walk to Fira and even less to Oia. We stayed there with my boyfriend for a couple of days and literally walked through the entire island. Very good location, 10 min walk from buzzing Fira but much more quiet.
Excellent view of the caldera from the shared balcony. Kosmas, the
owner, is kind and very helpful. Very good value for money, considering
how much others charge for the view, if you are willing to share it.
Tip: If you are budget conscious get a room without a view. The ones
with the view just have a window anyway and the balcony is what makes
it worth it.

This hotel has an absolutely wonderful staff - helpful and eager to please in every way. We were upgraded to one of the honeymoon suites and it was fabulous...what an amazing view with a private Jacuzzi no less. What can I say apart from fantastic! 10 out of 10. We chose GABBIANO because it looked private, quiet and accomodation was in the traditional type of accomodation. Villais villas is perfect. Our host Loukas bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The suite was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is provided and contains fruit, fresh bread and something cooked, a great way to start your day. Imerovigli is a 20-30 minute walk away from the capital (Thira) and has a couple of fantastic taverna's.
