Helpful, friendly staff and the pick up service from the ferry really helped. The staff gave good recommendations on places to visit, helped with car rental, drinking water, and walking to town. Altogether a good place to stay.

We were hooked from the moment we arrived, the hotel and surroundings are beautiful and extremely quiet, perched high on a hill to maximise the views across the island, whilst still being only a short 5 minute drive into town and the beaches, perfect! The staff could not have been more attentive and the accommodation was of a very high standard. The pool was lovely and the room was large and well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast had more varied selection than some others we have been to in Greece. Fantastic coastal views!

The staff could not do enough for us. They picked us up from airport and took us to the port for a ferry crossing. I cannot praise them enough. tHe hotel is in a fab location with wonderful views across Ornos bay and towards mykonos town

I liked everything. I have been to Santorini before and the overall standard of accommodation is high at every price level. It is highly competitive too. What makes the Sigal stick out is the unassuming nature of your hosts, all members of the same lovely family who are always cheerful and overtly helpful without straying into the poncey attendant type operation that Santorini seems to have sprouted in abundance. Although Santorini pretty much has amazing views anywhere you go, the views from the Villas were special because it allowed a unique perspective from the main parts of the island. Staying in Akrotiri is a must if you enjoy culture or history. Would recommend this hotel. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

My room had a balcony with beautiful view of the harbor and windmills. The sunset view was breathtaking. The hotel had lovely terraces. The hotel is located 15-20 minute walking distance from the town center (uphill) but the view is worth it.
The breakfast was very good. The cookies and cakes were especially decicious!!
The hotel offered free transfer to and from the port which was very convenient.
