  The apartment had a full size cooker and fridge. It was spotlessly clean throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The waitress/cook was a charming elderly woman (who doesn't speak english, but that was all the more fun). The view from the place is great. There is a small shop on the ground where you can get some groceries - The facilities, the service, the friendliness of the owner, the atmosphere, the location, all are exceptional. The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.

They always helped us no matter what we asked. The pool suite was very nice. The location was nice too. 7 minutes walk from star beach and 10-15 minutes from the center.

  The view from our apartment balcony was spectacular - we overlooked the bay, the village and the mountains. Our apartment was clean and comfortable and our hosts provided cleaning services throughout our stay - which is not always the case when you rent a holiday apartment. There are steps from the Isadora property that lead directly to the beach for swimming and to the bea - The best place we stayed at in Crete without a doubt! The owners, nikki and george are such nice people! they helped us getting around and we were lucky to stay with them! The place is very clean with amazing sea views, the pictures don't do the place any justice. Rooms are clean and well equipped. We would stay there for a whole week (more like a whol month) if we could! It's about 5 minutes walk from the main street of Almirida and it's great since it's peacful, and yet close to everything.

  We loved Alcanea Boutique hotel! The room was spacious and almost as big as our entire house with beautiful views over Chania's port. Really friendly, caring and lovely staff. It is a shame we only spend one night. Our daughter had a great time. It was in the middle of Chania's old centre. Everything in walking distance. Absolutely recommended. - Could not have asked for more in a hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful with plenty of great recommendations. The location of the hotel was great, still close to the port but just away from all the noise that comes from the restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and designed individually, a bit like a home away from home. Each room also has a lovely view. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania.
