We stayed in the economy studio, and upon our arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of local wine. The location of the hotel was really ideal - It was just far enough outside of the city that we could walk to the beach in less than five minutes, and walk into the city in 20-30 minutes. Beautiful hotel, very clean and well looked after.
Lovely private swimming pool that was kept spotless and never full.
Plenty of sunbeds and poolside chairs.
Breaskfast for 6euro (3 for kids) with plenty of options available
Snacks available at lunchtime - limited but good value.
Close proximity to beach - 2 minutes walk and a further beach at 5 minutes with more facilities.
Bus stop for Chania at the end of the road - cost 1euro 10 and run regularly.

Great location! We (family with 4 kids) were there for 4 nights and had a great time. Manousos was very friendly and helpfull by bringing me to the mini market and renting bicycles.

Good place in the heart of old city, close to almost everything. Nice rooms, clean & quiet place. Perfect choice for those, who want to stay at Rethymno for a night or two -

We stayed at the Happy Cretan for three nights and the only bad thing I have to say is that we didn't have more time there. The hotel setting was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were fresh and clean along with being eco-friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the menu for the evening meal was fantastic and was prepared by a fantastic chef...we were never disappointed by what was served. The location of Suites Pandora is unique, over looking the old Venetian Harbour of Chania.
The view from the roof top is absolutely stunning. All staff was very friendly and helpfull and we can recommend this hotel to all lovers of small intimate hotels

The view from the place is great. There is a small shop on the ground where you can get some groceries - The facilities, the service, the friendliness of the owner, the atmosphere, the location, all are exceptional. The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.
