Its breathtaking view, literally "on the rocks" of the Lybian sea. It is comfortable, quiet, located close to the small harbour from where you can go by boat to some beaches and nearby villages. Great location with a view of the ferry, seafront and mountains.
Breakfast was very good - fruit, cereal, coffee, juice, cold meat, cheese, bread, croissants, doughnuts, bacon, eggs etc.
Staff were very friendly. Room small but adequate. Hotel was very quiet but lots of restaurants and bars very close. Beach lovely. Also local museum worth seeing.

The hotel is set in a quiet location with beautiful gardens. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very spacious with modern and comfortable amenities. Useful hotel in the middle of Paleochora, excellent position for having a walk around the village. Two minutes from the stone beach and 10 from the sandy one on the other side of the peninsula. The room was spacious but we had two separated bad even if we asked for a twin one. Owners were very kind and more important, free and comfortable parking nearby.

I don't know who rates hotels, but the 2 star rating seems an underrating. Last but not least; the price -
We stayed in a double room with our 9 month old son. The room was large and clean and had a balcony overlooking a pretty garden. Hotel is run by a charming family who were friendly and welcoming. The Cretan breakfast each morning was a treat. Location is handy for beach, harbour and restaurants nearby.

Large spacious apartment with separate bedroom and balcony. Very clean sheets and soft towels!! Close to beach and town. Lovely little old lady who runs the place brought up some homemade cake one morning. We checked out at the end of the week in flourish of hugs and kisses. It was probably the sight of cash but I really shouldn't be cynical. -

Everything was super - Paleochora atmosphere, friendly, sincere staff (understood us without their english). Close to beach (there's close to everything... : ) Room - all you need for your relax stay, clean and airy. Crazy cat, pigeons horror... Many thanks to owners... : )
