  The Acropolis Hill Hotel was ideally situated; easy to find from Syngrou- Fix Metro Station and a pleasant walk to and from historic sites in and around the Acropolis, and the Plaka and Monastiraki areas (and the information centre which is also well worth a visit for free maps, guides and advice).   I needed a late night stopover so chose the cheapest hotel I could find, not really expecting much, just a place to crash for one night. It was a delight to find such a genuine, friendly, helpful place.
