  Pension George is run by a family who take such great care of their guests. For instance they picked us up at the port when our ferry came in at 1:00 am and dropped us off at the airport and port when it was time to leave--with no extra cost!   A fantastic hotel runs by a fantastic family. We were there for 4 nights with 3 teenagers. The children slept in an apartment-loft while my husband and I were in the windmill: very romantic and lovely. The pool area is wonderful, with nice sunbeds. A little walk to Fira centrum (15 mn) uphills... sweaty in the middle of the day but nice at night.... ce que les gens disent » With a car or a ATV, it is easy to reach Oia (north) or Perivolos (south). From the pool area, turn around an be charmed by the beautiful view over F - The staff is wonderful and do all they can to accomodate their guests. They arranged for a rental car at a good price. The hotel is quite nice, quiet and very well kept. It has a beautiful pool area. The room was rather large and very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast is good and has a good number of choices. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from downtown Fira. The road is not heavily travelled by motorists but is a bit dark so preferable to bring a flashligh

  A very good choice if you want a nice cheap accommodation a bit far from crowdy villages on the cliffs. But dont forget to rent a car because the hotel is quite far from Caldera views and local beaches. How to find the hotel? The boss of the hotel is so nice to pick up us form the dork and drive us to the airport . It is the most memorable travel I have been!!!~~~

Location is very convenient, near to Fira ( 5 minutes walking) but not too close to be noisy, in fact, the surroundings of the hotel were quiet and peaceful. Room was spacious and very clean.   When we arrived there was a problem as the hotel had not received my online confirmed booking.Anastia who is the hotel owner was very professional.She gave us option to go for a not so good room at her hotel and get some refund or she would upgrade us to a better room at another property for a day till then the type of room we had requsted would b... ce que les gens disent » ecome available at Solaris.She was very friendly,great problem solver .Altough we spent a day at the hotel she made sure our stay was comfortable.As i - We came to Santorini for the wedding of our best friend and we stayed in Solaris. The hotel was very nice near to the center so we could easily reach our friend's hotel walking. Very nice clean swimming pool and a nice little bar there. The reception staff was very kind and helpfull we hadd all the information we needed. The room was like we saw it in the internet very clean and comfortable.
