Excellent location, very close to train station and many restaurants...just a few steps to the lovely lake area. It's close to shopping and sights, too, and if you're not too burdened with luggage, you can walk from the cruise center (we did, with 50-pound bags). Very clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, nice bar. Our first stay an in Ibis

Location was a big plus, walking distance from train station and main
city attractions. Staff at the breakfast buffet, bar and front desk were
very nice. Breakfast buffet was fair considering the price.

Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique et le déjeuner très bien servi. - This is a great hotel to stay at in Hamburg. It has a cozy feel, and good sized rooms and bathrooms. We were able to walk right into the city center in about 15 minutes, and another 5 minutes to the lake. There is also a metro stop very close by, and it's a 10 minute

Nous avons aimé le petit déjeuner copieux et varié, la situation de l'hôtel, près de la gare, du lac. - La position! Devant, il y a l'Alster avec une vue superbe, et derrièreil y a un quartier absolument sympathique.

Right beside the Central station of Hamburg, very convenient for getting anywhere from here.
The appartment was clean, comfortable and quiet (appartment 2B that was not facing the street, but the backyard). Cleaned everyday, equiped with towels and basic kitchen stuff. -

I loved staying at the hostel! It was very modern and very clean. The
staff were so friendly! My room was with 6 other girls and very modern
too. Nice bunk beds and with privacy screens. Chargers for cell phones
and computers. You don't need adapters if you can charge with a
usb cable. Each bed has their own charging station along with light.

Lovely a quiet whilst sleeping - a big surprise considering location - no noise from outside or other people staying in the hostel.
Brilliant location - right next to the Hauptbahnhof, two art galleries/museums, lots of places to eat and easy walking distance to attractions such as Rathaus, Jungfernstieg, Alsterwasser usw.
