  This was a fabulous small hotel in the heart of a great neighbourhood of Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg. Unbelievable location in quiet area yet steps from the hip shops and cafes in this great area. The room was huge and fantastic with two big bathrooms. Breakfast was great! Loved the lobby, and the entrance to the hotel, and pretty much everything... ce que les gens disent » about it! - Comprehensive breakfast everyday - excellent! Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Shower room well kitted out with new fittings - brilliant shower! Good travel connections. Good restaurants in locality.

  Good location near the most vibrant and interesting part of Berlin, small but very nicely furbished and stylish calm rooms, absolutely clean, good housekeeping, excellent breakfast served in the small but cosy restaurant or outside in the courtyard, extremely competent and supportive staff in the restaurant (being early at breakfast: "no problem, ... ce que les gens disent » I`ll get you the rea...") and the reception desk (they did the shipment of an important document for me, reliable and just as a matter of course - tha - Excellent design, rooms are of a good size and well isolated. The Amano group who runs the hotel concists of several highlights such as their gin tonic bar with gins from all over the world, the restaurant at Mani which seems stunning, and the Amano bar which is famous within Berlins cocktail scene.   It was an amazing price/ quality ratio. We had a wonderful, huge apartment for a price elsewhere you wouldn't even get a broom closet. We were amazed about the luxurious comfort and the full equipment of the suite. Specially the kitchen had everything from a fridge, micro wave to a washer. You could have moved in there for living. Bravo, Amano! - Very nice design hotel - nice big room - good location close to U-bahn, restaurants and close to Alexander Platz (10 minutes walk). Quit area. Free wifi - worked best in the lounge.   Nice folks clean room and marble bathroom,good food (but Hackeschermarkt platz a few feet away, full of indoor/sidewalk food places. Short walk to cathedral (Lutheran) with magnificent music for Sunday services and spectacular Vatican like interior. A few more feet and you are at the magnificent Pergamum museum (filled witth entire temples and gat... ce que les gens disent » es from Ancient Greek city and Babylon. Trains, trolleys, water tour all in five minutes walk. A great find, will return. Oh, the actual fireoplace an - The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay. Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome! I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)
