  From my experience, this was one of the best places I have stayed. The room and the guest house are excellent and the hostess is extremely friendly and helpful (and her english is perfect!!!).   We liked the location of the hotel in the picturesque village of Grainau, and also the traditional chalet design. Our spacious room with balcony looked out at the Zugspitze which was spectacular.   This was my second time at Hotel Jagerhof and I will be back. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Beds are comfortable with fluffy, down comforters. Wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, breads, yogurt, cheese, meat, juice, and great coffee. I had a fantastic view from my balcony. Bathroom is small, but typical for Europe.
