  Beautiful, quiet, countryside location with nice variety of things to do in the area (hiking, boating, biking, exploring old towns/villages, thermal baths). Guest room was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and included a sitting area as well as a balcony. Hostess was very kind and helpful, providing a number of suggestions for thin - One of the most original/unique places I have ever booked through the letsbookhotel.com. Splendid location in the mountains, great views, Bavarian style all around, personal attention form the owner. It is not a hotel, not a pension, it is a guest house in the best meaning of the word. Please note that the great location means that the driveway is quite steep, rather not suitable for inexperienced drivers.

Had a chance to wear my dirdnl, hear some old-fashioned German music, see some dancers and the Holzhacker Bu'an. Convenient to the train to Berchtesgaden. Excellent innkeepers.Good breakfast. The accommodations were very comfortable. We especially liked the quiet surroundings of the country-side with beautiful views of the surrounding Bavarian mountains. A great way to start a vacation.

We had a large room, perfectly appointed and extremely clean with a wonderful bathroom (huge shoer, floor heating etc), separate sitting / lounge area and a nice terrace. Accomodation is perfect for summer or winter holidays! We spent 4 n - The setting is jaw-droppingly beautiful. The excellence continues through check-in with very helpful staff who directed us to several options for our afternoon. Based on the excellent level of service at check-in we ended up coming back and eating in the hotel which was a great decision - wonderful food and service. I cannot overstate the beauty of the setting. I wish there were a higher rating than 10.
