Ce que les gens disent
An excellent location and wonderful staff. This isn't luxury, but
an historical building in the perfect location in the most beautiful
Alsacian town. You descend the stairs to a quaint and very french
dining room , with a fresh baguette awaiting, and croissants and of
course a wonderfully brewed pot of hot, coffee- it just doesn't get
any better!.
Historic building- absolutely beautiful, but that means it can be a bit difficult getting luggage up the stairs, a small price to pay for all that charm. This is our 2nd time staying here and we'll be back- we love this hotel. A total delight. be sure to add the breakfast. We love it here!!!. tous commentaires »
A lovely little hotel. Quaint. No frills about it and basic, but comfortable. The shower and bathroom are shared by all, but there is a bidet in each room. The cafe/bar just outside the hotel is nice - great food, good drinks. I would stay here again.
Staying in the center of town in a half timbered building built in 1619. A great restaurant downstairs.
Well situated, reasonably priced and quiet for the central location. Good breakfast. Fine for one night.
The hotel is perfect located and a beautyful building... It is old and charming!.
The bed's a little hard, but as I've said- this isn't luxury-
so who cares.
not a thing.
No parking. Three flights of stairs up. Both come from the things I like about the hotel, so I understand. No elevators in 1619 or cars for that matter.
Rather dour, grudging staff and difficult to find anyone on arrival late afternoon. Rather cheerless, take-it-or-leave-it atmosphere in such a delightful spot, full of old world charm. I speak fluent French and German, so not a language issue. I may just have been unlucky on this one occasion, and my experience may not be typical!.
The bathroom is en suite with a curtain!.
No door to shower/bathroom area and curtain hanging off. Scruffy decoration and poor quality furniture and bedding. Very small room. Not easy to park.
