Fantastic location, a stone,s throw from the cathedral and the old town of Chartres. Very helpful map sent beforehand by the hotel with info for where to park to drop off luggage. Free car park pass from the hotel for the underground car park which was a five minute walk away. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Do not miss the light show at the cat

The location right next to the Cathedral is wonderful and this puts you in the best place for exploring Chartres.
The breakfast was fabulous.
The manageress/owner was lovely and really helpful.
The parking (included in the room rate) in a nearby public car park is easily arranged with the hotel.
The room Les Anges was beautiful - very romantic, with views to the front and rear of the hotel, a screened-off sitting area and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath.
We will definitely return.

Proximity to the cathedral was great. My husband and I could walk to it in less than 10 minutes. Although the breakfast was not included, it was worth the cost as it included fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, different breads, as well as scrambled and soft boiled eggs. We would recommend it to anyone who would be interested in visiting Chartres. -

I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends for it's location, extremely friendly staff and comfort. It feels very chic but sits comfortably in the beautiful city of Chartres, literally by the cathedral

The word choices in # 3 were inadequate to describe Maison Ailleurs. The room we occupied was beautifully decorated, superbly comfortable and a pleasure to spend time in. Quality toiletries and attention to details throughout made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast each morning brought to our room was delicious and a treat for the eyes. -

Really friendly staff - breakfast is served in the busy bar-cafe next door which has a great French atmosphere. We would certainly use this hotel again as a stop over. -

Great Location in centre of town, good clean rooms with Air Con, easy parking.
All the staff in mt both reception and house were friendly and helpful, I have stayed here before and would choose to stay again.
Chartres in an interesting city to visit and a great overnight location if travelling south. -

We arrived late and the reception staff still had a welcoming smile for
us. All the staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Although I speak
some French the staff were more than willing to speak english to us. The
breakfast buffet was great and a good variety. We didn't get to try
the restaurant for evening meal. -

The hotel was extremely convenient for the city and old town - which was what we had come to see, after all. Location was the best part of this hotel. 10-15 minute walk and you're at the cathedral. Also had no issues with getting to the hotel as it's conveniently located on a main road. The Italian restaurant was also good. Staff was very courteous, professional, and spoke English.

Wonderful staff, beautiful room, lovely building. We got trapped at an exit from the motorway, and showed up rather late. The proprietor welcomed us warmly, and pointed us to a place where we could still get a bite to eat. We chose it because we were visiting the Cathedral and it was close. Next time, we will go to Chartres to stay here, and maybe

One night stop before the cathedrals in the Loire Valley. Loft room with coffee/tea just outside the door. Quiet but convenient to the Chartes Cathedral. Pleasant city. Amble room but not large. Everything we needed.
