Ce que les gens disent
A clean and comfortabel hotel. No unnecessary luxury you pay for and
never use. Walking to a small beach is just 2 minutes. The service of
the employees was friendly and kind. The menu was in English which
makes it easier to choose. The owner advised us to choose the menu of
the day. A fantastic diner with a glass of wine for € 9,50 !! This
hotel is recommendable for staying over for one or two nights when
travelling France. tous commentaires »
The more we use this hotel, the more we like it. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean and the food and wine were as good as ever, Even though this was midweek and November with just the two of us staying on our second night, we were very well looked after. We will be returning.
We had a very enjoyable stay here. The restaurant was great value, with a good selection and very well priced wine. We hope to stay here again.
Excellent hotel and staff. Good clean feel and welcoming staff await. Even when the weather fails to deliver beach weather.
Great location - one block back from the sea front. The restaurant was excellent - very good standard food and great value.
Brilliantly comfortable bed and very quiet, slept really well. Excellent location for coastal walks and exploring Boulogne.

The location (good public transport)
The restaurant.
Very good value for money.Resturant was just right for the occasion.
staff, restaurant, closeness to the beach,.
Outstanding evening meal.
The attached restaurant.
Fantastic attitude.
Particularly the friendliness of the staff and the restaurant! Food is
brilliant and not too expensive, suitable for a family budget. Stayed
one night on outward journey and two nights on return.
Locality for beach and centre.
Cleanliness of rooms.
Evening meal.
Breakfast was basic but very fresh.
Owner spoke english.
must try restaurant, great food, excellent value for money.
Comfortable room and very good food.
The restaurant here has lovely food, very impressed.
The small city has not many things to offer. Few restaurants and no
sights to visit.
I just wish small French hotels would adopt duvets to replace bankets.
After being there before. The construction of new flats restrict the view of the beach & Fort de la heart from the facing rooms and street outside the hotel. Only 2 minutes walk away to the beach.
Sea views are fairly unlikely.
Bathroom small and smelt slightly musty.
No parking.
Having to wait until 1800 to get into the hotel.
lack of parking.
1800 check in.
Stairs.
Not easy to find (even with a local map) as a one way system exists.
Avoid Room 13 - very small and needed to be a contortionist to use the
shower or toilet!! Did not retract from the lovely time we had though.
Locality -on a very busy street corner.
As usual there was some confusion between members of staff - one did not appear to realise we had booked in for dinner, which appears to be essential as simply having booked a room does not guarantee a table. Also a bit difficult for two 70somethings to lug a case up to the second floor of the hotel.
The room was very basic, no tea making, which I know is common in France. The restaurant was closed on Monday nights and not much else in the village to choose from.
The room I found very depressing. The olive green walls in the entire room and bathroom, made me feel quite claustrophobic, especially being in the top floor with a sloping ceiling, so very little white/light from the ceiling.
