I always book 3 star hotels, as I prefer the personal touch which I find missing in 4 or 5 star places. The 3 star hotels near the congress venues (the Odeon and Paris Diderot University) were all booked, so I went for this one - and I am so glad I did... ce que les gens disent » ! All that was promised was delivered - a spotlessly clean and very welcoming double room single occupancy, bathroom ensuite, very comfortable bed, crisp linen, towels changed - We paid a bit extra for the 7th floor suite, well worth it, the staff were extremely helpful & the rooms serviced every day.breakfast was typical French but filling. Only 4.5 ks from the Eiffel Tower & the same from the louvre. Probably one of the cheapest hotels in Paris.

  Staff was really good and friendly they were sportive. I like the location as well. Every thing was nearby cafes, bars, shopping centers....... - Close to metro, clean, friendly staff (spoke good English), affordable. Would recommend to anyone.

  I am woman, 30 years old and I have traveled alone for 2 weeks in Paris. I chose Cujas Pantheon firstly because of its location which is central and near main streets. This fact made me feel really safe to came back to the hotel at night. The team was kindly since the reception until helping with useful informations as I needed.   I've selected the Hotel Moderne as my go-to hotel while traveling to Paris on business. The value for quality is excellent in a city where you often have to pay top price for mediocre accomodations and service. My room this time (302) was very quiet and facing the courtyard. Free - Hotel du Home Moderne is an excellent value, clean and comfortable with modern amenities. We were particularly impressed with the staff. Guillume and Jennifer, who manned the front desk, were outstanding. They always went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. At the buffet breakfast, Lore managed the breakfast room with efficiency and good humor. We also enjoyed the non-touristy neighborhood, which has lots of little shops and cafes and is conveniently located near transportation.

It has fairly good transit connections (by Metro and RER) and is just on the outskirts of the "main attractions".
