The reception on duty were very accomodating esp the guy, i forget the name "sorry" who always has a smile whenever we ask a hot water everytime we arrive late in the evening.

  Clean, comfortable and updated quadruple room. One room with 2 twin beds together, and another with 2 separate twin beds...great for us and our 2 girls.   Great location 5 minutes from the entrance to the Louvre and Metro, and walking distance to many attractions right in the middle of Paris and safe at nights when walking around. Very friendly and helpful staff that spoke perfect English. Nothing too flashy but clean, comfortable, well priced and in a great location. The staff were all friendly and spoke good English. We were only travelling for a weekend so had small, light bags and this hotel suited us well... if travelling with larger bags I would consider other options as the elevator is very small and is not accessible from the ground floor.

  The view from the 5th floor! We had two corner rooms and there is a very small ledge balcony that can be accessed out the windows, but only on the 5th. Excellent view of Sac coer. The breakfast served at the hotel is a great value at 7 euro pp, get it! You won't find cheaper in this part of paris. Coffee, juice, breads, cereal, fruit, yogurt. But ... ce que les gens disent » it's all self serve, which we like. Very clean place, small, but for Paris sight seeing you're not spending that much time in the room anyway. Excelle - Reception staff (females) were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable + clean, just be aware that street noise carries on till around midnight. Loved the small balcony (had a wonderful view of Saccra Coeur + the street below). Hotel is located within walking distance to Montmartre & Saccra Coeur, but far away from other sites, so have to use metro. Metro stations within walking distance.
