  We stayed two nights in this beautiful and historic building by the harbour. After a delicious French breakfast, we enjoyed stepping out onto the cobblestones to explore the city by foot. If you are Canadian and a history buff, you will delight in this port where French mariners, including Samuel De Champlain, departed for the New World.   The staff spoke excellent english. They were extremely helpful when booking in and also throughout my stay. A short walk to the centre of Honfleur made everything just perfect for a short break - The hotel was excellent. The location is great, about 5 minutes by foot from the center of the town.   Central location Rooms were comfortable Lift, as stairs very narrow, as it was a very old, historic property - good position near the old harbour. Small but friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent.
