Splendid hotel, lots to like, and first and foremost must come the
extremely friendly and accommodating staff that couldn’t have been more
polite or helpful!
Other than that the mountain view was excellent.
The room was great with the wood panelled walls, fittings and furnishings giving it a chalet feel that we loved.

Everything about this hotel was surprisingly good, all thought the hotel is situated a short distance from the centre of Chamonix, the bus and train service (both stops located 100 mtrs from the hotel) is very good even on Holidays and weekends. Plus each guest gets issued with a free pass for both bus and train journeys in the valley for the duration of your stay, an added bonus,

If the weather is good you can see Mont Blanc from your terrace and the golf club's territory what is pleasant for the eyes and there are no other hotels back to back - silence all around( we lived on the second floor, room with Mont Blanc view). From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and every assistance was
given to us. The room was clean and tidy and each day the cleaning
and tidying whilst we were out was faultless. Breakfast was excellent
and generous in quantity. We were given helpful advice each day to
make the most of ourstay and on the last day the luggage storage and
shower meant we could have a full day skiing before our trip home.
Thanks also for arranging ourairport transfer. All in all a great

Great location - either short walk or drive to the ski slopes depending on where you choose to ski.
Also very close to a handful of bars/restaurants
Very peaceful - not a noisy hotel (despite being on the main road through Argentiere)

This wonderful traditional hotel situated in the middle of Chamonix offers great value for money and is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. It has limited parking in a yard adjacent so book early to secure a space. Once you locate the hotel - getting to it can be a challenge because of the one-way streets and pedestrian areas, but once you get there, you will be delighted.

Fantastic hotel for the price. Lovely, clean rooms with spacious en suite. Bar downstairs is always manned with friendly staff (happy hour 5-7pm). This is a very old hotel, but very comfortable. The beds and bedding were some of the best we stayed in over 3 months and we had rooms with 2 sets of windows overlooking the mountains. It snowed both nights and the rooms were lovely and warm.
