The location was excellent for visiting the medieval city. It is a
beautiful house which has been carefully and tastefully restored. The
owner (Bernard) was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended
several good restaurants for us as well as giving us directions. The
breakfast was very good and our apartment was superb with French windows
leading onto the well maintained garden. Rooms were spacious and very
clean. Although this accommodation is on a busy road, we found that we
were unaware

We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants.
This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc.
The property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the castle and countryside. We had great breakfast with the most marvelous variety

Les chambres sont très spacieuses et décorées avec goût. La literie est bonne.
Le petit déjeuner est fait maison, copieux et délicieux ! Une très bonne façon de commencer la journée ! Evelyne est très sympathique et est pleine de bons conseils pour trouver les bons restos ou les coins sympas pour boire un verre.

Nice little B&B really close to the old city of Carcassonne and about a 10 minute walk over the bridge into the new town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Room was clean, well decorated and larger than expected. Owners very friendly too.

We had the benefit of the ground floor room which has a door into the
small courtyard garden which was perfect for a quiet glass of wine after

Excellent chambre d'hôte in the centre of La Cité Médievale de Carcassonne, a few steps from the ancient Basilica of St Nazaire and the old walls and gateways. Lovely spacious room with excellent, much needed air conditioning - the temperature during the day in the cité was mid-30s. This small private guest house was very comfortable and well placed a short stroll from the main attractions. The on street parking was ok as it's on a quiet side street. Myriam served us an excellent breakfast in the garden.
The guest's roof terrace offers great views across to the old Cite. There are hundreds of places to eat in the evening we found the Jardin d'ete excellent, great pizzas and a good ambiance within a walled garden just below the Cite walls

Great guest house run by the fabulous Simone, Who spared no effort in making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay even waking early to prepare breakfast for us before our early train even though breakfast was not officially served until later.

This place is a box of delights wrapped in a plain paper wrapper. Driving down the street its easy to miss the sign over the door but when you ring the bell the double carriage doors open to reveal a real gem of period property with Simone, the smiling owner, pointing us to our secure parking spot. The rooms are individually styled to suit the centuries old building, but with comfortable beds, some of them four poster.

Also the owners were so friendly and helpful! they learned we were leaving early the next morning before breakfast was due to be served, instantly offered to make us a tray so that we would have something in the morning and had a taxi booked for us as well! so nice and friendly! really helpful too with

La Villa B&B was wonderful. Madame Flo and Jean-Michel were very helpful and friendly. Patient with my attempt at the French language, but conversed well with my partner who's French is far better than mine. We stayed in two different room and both were spotlessly clean and tidy, with a lot of thought going in to the decor and design. fabulous breakfasts!

I love being in the medieval city and staying in sort of medieval dwelling though it has all comfort you can expect from the building like this. It's like being back to Middle Ages but with modern time features such as bathroom. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy breakfast (had to leave early), but ther are no doubts that eating breakfast in the small courtyard add something to overall experience.
