So unexpectedly lovely - the converted attic/loft had ample space for four, very comfortable beds for everyone (no horrid sofa beds here), a big fridge, efficient a/c, a lovely little lounge to relax in, and a delicious and pleasant breakfast to boot. I thought that the loft was utterly charming - stylish, really comfortable and very well thought through. We loved that it was self-contained - we could relax with a glass of wine in the sitting room while our sons slept next door. There is a park across the road with a children's play area, which was perfect for letting off steam the following morning! We came as part of a two day trip to exlore Wissant, the surrounding area and to do some shopping. Thorughly recommend it and will be back.

This is a very clean, very well designed and spacious apartment in a quiet street right in the centre of Calais and close to amenities (supermarkets, bakeries). Warmest welcome from the owners. Able to park for free right outside. Easy to find and very close to amenities. Fabulous apartment - way better than the picture makes it look. Spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. Perfect for young children, with stairgate in place, cot etc available. Took us just over 10 mins to get to the Tunnel in the morning. We wanted to move in for good!

4. Clean, tidy, and it has a vintage feel to it, where you could forget you are actually in Calais
5. Hostess was great, polite, friendly and it felt like we were invited to a long lost friends homes
6. If i was passing through Calais, i would stay here.

Much more of an experience than a simple hotel stay. My wife and I
stayed in the Agadir room and felt we could have been there. The
Moroccan music, furnishings and design were all so authentic. The
attention to detail was amazing, even the breakfast table settings were
themed on the same basis as the rooms. Very impressive indeed. -

For the same price as a basic motel room, this is way better... it is, for us, a part of the holiday, not just an overnight stop. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I love this hotel, and their staff. Everyone is super helpful and the
rooms are very comfortable. The bathrooms are superb with a walk-in
shower, and the standard of cleanliness is excellent. I love the area
given over for breakfast, and any small pastries left over from
breakfast are put on a trolley in reception with a kettle and teabags
and coffe, and guests can help themselves for free during the day. It is
excellent.

The staff were nice and had a good level of English. The twin room was a
fair size however it should be made aware that your bathroom, although
portrayed as your own en suite, is actually shared with the twin room
next door. That part I didn't like. Apart from that, the breakfast

Simple, excellent value for the price, quiet rooms, simple but very tasty buffet breakfast included, very helpful staff. The reception is (theoretically) open open 24/7 (even though you might need to give them a wakeup call if arrived at an unusual time - say, 4am - so keep your mobile charged). Plenty of free parking space.

The hotel was very easy to find. Just popped address into Satnav and we
were there within about 5 mins. You couldn't ask for a more central
location really. A very small walk and we were in the middle of Calais,
with all the shops and lovely little cafes. There were 3 of us in our

I have stayed here when it was the Bonsai which was cheap and cheerful and this continues to be the case. The bedrooms appear to have befitted from a face-lift. The reception was welcoming and helpful and unlike other budget hotels appeared to be on duty quite late at night. As the name suggests it's right next to the station so handy for foot passengers. There is a Carrefour just over the road and many bars and restaurants close by. The town centre is 5 minutes walk. Free wi-fi in the room. Pl

Proximité du centre ville - Very friendly helpful staff - I have been there many times, and although it was in the middle ofredecorating it still was the best hotel for value especially right onthe market square.
