The location is bucolic and the staff is very nice and welcoming, and the place is run by a family. You will see animals in the garden and fields around, the place is relaxing and eco friendly. The restaurant looks amazing, and the chef is coming to greet the customers after each service, food is exellent and well presented. tous commentaires
Location. (Good place to break journey to ports). Farm type environment including birds and animals very pleasant (and unusual).

The hotel room.
It smelled dump in the room and we had to bring febreze to take this smell away during our week end, apart from that the room is normal, bed is comfy and heating quite works ;)
I think there is just this dump smell problem to fix as well as a bit of administration organization (we booked the biggest room and we ended up with a small one), and everything will be perfect.
The room (no 7) had a broken shower in the en suite, this had been noticed on a previous visit 2 years ago!
A very unpleasant smell was evident coming from the en suite. This could best be described as similar to rotting flesh! Some attempt had been made to cover this up by use of an 'Airwick' type freshener.
Upstairs room had low beams due to rooms being squashed in.

Restaurant closed on Sunday evening and not indicated in publicity.

Unfortunately there was nobody at all at the hotel when I arrived.
the owner is obviousley not a happy person and in the wrong business, however, it is His business therefore just wish Him the luck He deserves!.
Our room was very dirt.
No one was there when we arrived at 5pm, suppose to be open at 12 midday till 22.30.
No where in building open to even get a coffee, then next night restaurant open would no let us buy a coffee. The outside needs a good clean, gardens and parking area. All in all expensive and a terrible experience for the cost. Would not recommend this place at all.
