The hotel was small, clean and pleasant with the bonus of a swimming pool. The staff were excellent, especially when we arrived during a festival and couldn't park. One of the owners sorted this out very quickly with the local security. The situation is excellent, right in the town centre with immediate access to restaurants/cafes/shops etc. W

New owner (1 year) very friendly and helpful as were all members of staff.
Rooms all redecorated and airconditioned.
Good sized terrace overlooking the street or could have a balconied room to rear overlooking pool area.
Very close to centre of town.
Good price.
Will certainly return in the future.

Charming Maria-Agnes made us feel welcome and her hospitality was 5 star. She serves a lavish breakfast in a wonderful setting both inside and out. Great value and lovely hostess! -

L'accueil tres sympa, tres naturel, presque familial.
Nous avons apprecie le calme de l'environnement et le fait qu'il y ait une piscine pour seulement 2 gites.
On s' y est tout de suite tres bien et nous aurions aime prolonger notre sejour mais pas de disponibilite : dommage pour nous mais tant mieux pour les proprietaires du gite. -

We stayed one night after a long drive and everything was perfect; instructions were good, old farmhouse with large room, cool and comfortable (it was 29 degrees during the day). Pleasant hosts, excellent advice about where to eat in Bergerac, excellent and relaxed breakfast.

Made to feel that you are welcome and not just another guest by Ed and Ineke from the moment that you arrive. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment which was far bigger than we expected. Bedroom large, kitchen enough facilities to be self catering if you wished. We were offered the option to eat with Ed and Ineke

The staff and general atmosphere was amazing. The owners, Ed and Ineka were incredible hosts as were their friends, Vim and Ingrid. You felt as though you were staying as guests in their home. Nothing was too much trouble, even offering to pick us up from the airport and babysitting our children. They also kindly waived the fee when we had to cut short our stay at the last minute.
