  This hotel was chosen because it was close to the airport. We turned our rental car in the day before and had an early flight to catch then next morning. We (3) ladies had no problem walking to the airport directly across the street via a special passageway that went under the Main Street. The room was clean....no extras! They provided directions and recommendat - Location is just WOW if you are coming by flight. if you are coming to Terminal1 then it is a walk for 2 min simple. If you are coming to Terminal 2 then there are free shuttle buses(runs in the night as well till the last flight) from Terminal 2 to terminal 1. These are big blue buses. Just take this bus and get down at stop Lycee Hotelier. Hotel is just 1 min walk. You will see the sign on Luxury Hotel Novotel from far. Ibis and Novotel are attached.   The staff were very welcoming and we were able to converse in mixed French and English (they speak French & minimal English but are patient with those who are learning French). A great location near to the Promenade de Anglais for beaches and en route for drop off/pick up by Nice airport buses. There was an en suite toilet and shower with fresh towels brought every day. - I felt the warmth of being at home with a very friendly and cooperative staff the hotel is near everything ,; the sea , the city center, the petit train station, many bus stations where you can go everywhere and the staff told me an advice ti go to Mont Carlo - Monaco from there with the bus ( 1 Euro ) where i had a great day Actually i will choose the hotel as a first choice whenever i think about Nice

The villa was built in 1869 and the host does his best to maintain the air of antiquity in his hotel. The rooms are very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is very delicated and beautiful,you can enjoy the strong mediterranean elements.It a fair good location,it takes 5 mins to drive to the city center.Moreover,good price in Nice during summer peak season.
