The whole pension is very clean and safe. The lady owner of the pension is very friendly and definitely very generous with the breakfast. With just the 2 of us, the breakfast provided is good enough to feed a family of 4. The pension is just a few steps away from the castle. Along the street, there are a number of restaurants. Everything, from the outside it does not look that special, but appearances can be deceiving. Inside it is wonderful, really well planned with great touches. Lovely whirlpool bath and great fittings in the loo. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and the location is great for the city, as long as you don't mind a few steps (80) to the town. There is a slightly longer route without steps if required. However the city is wonderful and worth the short walk.

Really enjoyed our stay. Peter and Daniela were wonderful. They helped us out with restaurant tips and events currently happening in town.
Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices. We plan to return with our son and will definitely stay again at Penzion Onyx.

It is funny and charming. Very friendly unique atmosphere that make you feel like you are really visiting your friends who host you there. The owners are frequently interacting with guest in very nice way, the staff is very friendly and unlike owners speaks very good English. The location is good, it takes about 5 minutes walking to the city centre, though it's not vey easy to find at your first time (we travel by local car so it's not a problem). it's the best breakfast we've had during our visit to mid europe.
