They had drinks for us on arrival and dropped us to the ferry port when we were leaving. The apartment was gorgeous and we were able to hire a scooter there and do our laundry etc. at a reasonable price. Breakfast was nice. Great value for money.

The decoration and interior design of the hotel is just beautiful. Rooms were so clean. Greeting from very friendly receptionist on arrival was great as found the Croatians to be incredibly sour and unfriendly, SO we nearly fell over with the warmth of the greeting! Restaurant food was excellent - I do recommend you have lunch here one of the days

Good sized rooms. Great views of the sea. Very comfortable and furnished in a modern beach style. Loved the sauna in the room. Close to other fabulous beaches including Brela and Baska Voda.
Wonderful staff especially Dragana at reception. She is a gem and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks Dragana!

The staff are absolutely wonderful. They are there for you in whatever way you need them. The hotel itself is located literally 10 seconds away from the beach. sites along the Makarska coastline and promenade. Relatively smaller
than some of the other hotels in the area, but this gave it a more

The receptionists were very welcoming when we came in, showed us around the hotel and shared insights/recommendations for dinner and activities in the city. We stayed for three days in the beginning of October 2013. The weather was really bad so we didnt use the outside pool or the close beach/water. We did though enjoy the room with jacuzzi, sofa-group and wide-screen TV. The staff are wonderful! We had a very early morning ferry back to the mainland at the end of our stay and would be missing the breakfast in the hotel's dining room. Not only did the staff pack us a breakfast to eat on the ferry, but they also packed us a huge lunch! Unbelievably generous in a day and age where so many places nickel and dime their guests. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lipa. The facilities were excellent, rooms very spacious and smart with lovely views onto the bay. The pool was good and the food very nice. The staff, in particular, were excellent. They spoke perfect English and did everything they could to make sure we had a lovely stay and to deal with any problems if we had them.
