  We booked this hotel the night before when we had to return to Split and wish we had seen it on our earlier trip. Lovely hotel with a cafe and restaurant attached. The restaurant next door was also great value for money and has been voted the best in Split. We would stay here again - We enjoyed the view from our balcony and from the breakfast room. There is a small beach in front of the hotel. The english breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable. Good when you are traveling along the coast and have a car to visit Split and other beaches, having free parking in a quiet zone.

They let us leave our luggage on check out day so we could walk around town for a few hours before our ferry left late afternoon. They have a wonderful pool to come back to after a long day of walking.   The location is perfect for visiting the Old Town of Split by foot and even more. And what a joy to live inside the walls of Diocletian's Palace: good facilities, very calm (in February), beautiful view on the city square. Un appartement idéalement situé dans les murs du vieux pala - My cousins and I could not have been happier with the accommodations and especially the location. I have been to Split many times and have in the past always stayed in hotels. This was my first experience with an "apartment" type of accommodation. I loved loved loved the patio for late evening relaxation and people watching. Everything was like new and very clean. Both Antonia and Robi were wonderful and were very helpful in making our stay one to remember. - The apartment was a very nice size for 4 adults and magnificently located just outside the western wall of the palace at the Iron Gate. The terrace was amazing and spacious with a nice view of the square and a beautiful Romanesque house tower with Gothic belfry and Renaissance 24 hour clock adjoining the terrace. No bells ringing thankfully. Very charming and full of history. A great location to explore the palace and return to wonderful accommodations.

  Staff were amazing. I spent two nights at the Authentic Luxury in Split. The staff took the time to share the history of their home and were very helpful. Staff took great pride in their facilities.   The location is fantastic: 5 minutes walk to Diocletian's Palace, but tucked around the back of a building and thus absolutely quiet. Central Split can be a raucous party scene, but Royal Suites is dead quiet, despite its proximity. The staff is also absolutely fantastic. Someone also waited up for our arrival at 11 PM on a Sunday night. The - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Suites, which is ideally situated near the old town. The highlight was the outstanding attitude of the staff, who provided us with excellent advice and support. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, Tony, Tina and Lana. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts. We would certainly stay at the hotel again.

  Brilliant location - close to beach - great views and close to centre of town without being noisy. Good size apartment - clean and well furnished. Great little swimming pool. Good food - good value - Very helpful staff - wonderful location just next to the beach, excellent value for money would definitely recommend.
