  The hotel is obviously old (as almost any hotel in Opatija) but I liked the way they tried to keep it clean and pleasant for tourists. The rooms are big enough, staff really friendly. The view from the balcony is great. 10 min walk to the very center. It is located a bit further than other hotels and just a bit away from the road which is good. We were upgraded into G H Adriatic I. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold with an outstanding selection. We were so impressed we stayed on for an additional two days on a half board basis which at 72 Euro was outstanding value. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

It was great, if you get t - We stayed in a separate 2 bed apartment in opatija town centre - just 50 yds to the beach & all facilities. (Villa Dahlia is on a busy main road & a fair distance away ftom the centre. ) There was a tv in both bedrooms & living area with good cable channels. The bathroom was roomy & well equipped with plenty of towels. A galley kitchen which was fully equipped for cooking if desired.
