The man who runs the place, Momo, is the best host i've ever encountered. He goes out of his way to make the stay better. In our instance, he picked us up from the coach stop on Korcula without asking him to do so. He gave us wine upon arrival and was very forthcoming about the islands layout, finding a great balance between being informative without being offensive to patronise. The chap even got up at 5am to drive us to the ferry terminal, without us asking, he insisted. Even our worries of n.
tous commentaires » The owner is one of the friendliest and funniest person we've ever met. He picked us up at the port & showed us everything. He speaks at least 3 languages, we felt very comfortable staying with him! We were warmly welcomed with wine and water. At night he invited us and other travelers from the house to join his private guided city tour through the old town. This was impressive. We could rent bikes, a scooter and even snorkel-equipment free of charge. The terrace and the breathtaking view w. A very hospitable host, who treats his guests like good friends. He welcomed us with a bottle of local wine and presented a bottle of brandy when we were leaving. We spent an evening drinking wine together and the host told us incredible stories from his life and the story of the house. The house is clean and has a kitchen and even laundry for guests, but the best side is the terrace with an incredible view on the sea and mountains. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, or nice. The house is just outside the town, but Momo has bicycles and a scooter there at your disposal! We got to meet everyone who was staying at the apartments one evening because Momo laid on a dinner for everyone. Never stayed in a place like it before! For the hospitality, would definitely stay here again. The owner is very friendly and available to provide information, suggestions about the place. He provided a professional city visit tour mentioning historical and interesting gossip facts about Korcula. The view is amazing. Prize very convenient. Room and fornitures are easy going but effective. The owner was outstanding! He was very helpful and generous. He picked us up at the bus station, gave us a free night-time tour of the old town and helped us get to our next destination. We even picked figs from his garden. Great place to stay with a view of the water from our terrace. Momo was the best host I've had throughout my travels in Europe. He went out of his way to help us out and it really made our stay at this beautiful island that much better. He was very responsive to emails as our plans changed coming in since the ferry was sold out- great great host!. The host was outstanding and really went the extra mile for us. He was funny, extremely helpful and clearly loves his job. The room was comfortable and the balcony at the back was lovely to sit and look at the stars at night. The host is genuine and love worthy. And the service was the best we've had in our Croatian round vaccation. The room had a extraordinary view of the ocean and mountain side. Generally our stay there was perfect but in fact the owners could care more about their facilities (rather old furnitures, toilets without lids, broken floor covering etc.) and if you search for you may find some partially dirty corners. But this didn't reduce our well-being while we stood at Anamarija Rooms! The apartments are located a 15min walk from the old town but we found the walk very enjoyable!. The place is hard to find because the street has the same name as a village nearby. However, the host takes care to pick up his guests from the ferry. There was a strange smell in the bathroom which we should have mentioned, but it should not stop anyone staying here. It was great!. A 15minutes walk from centre but it's an easy and good walk. Anything. -Small shower and toilet. My room didn't have bathroom within the room.
