Ce que les gens disent
The owner was extremely friendly and she made us feel like home. When we first arrived she had prepared for us cold juice which was a very nice personal touch.
She gave us all the necessary information of where to go, where to eat, what to see, when to see it, where to buy stuff from and so on. She even offered to arrange a one day trip for us but not as a pushy salesman more as a very friendly and warm person.
About the trip and places that we visited:

The owners were fantastic. We happened to arrive during a rare rain storm, we were drenched through by the time we got to guesthouse Victoria. We had been informed out room may not be ready until 2, but when we got there the owners let us into there own living room, haves a warm drink, towels and a place to get changed, they also rushed the preparation of our room so we could be more comfortable. The guesthouse is about a half an hour walk from the old town, and 5 mins from the ferry port (down.
Visting Dubrovnik for a wedding, I wanted somewhere quiet, safe and comfortable for four nights. The Victoria Guesthouse was ideal! The owners - Ankica and Autun Banovac - were very welcoming and happy to help with all queries. My room had a balcony with a great view of the harbour and wonderful sunsets over the Adriatic. You can get the local No. 8 bus to the old city from a nearby bus stop, or walk (approx. 30 mins) which is what I did as you go along the clifftops. Small local shops and a fr.
Second visit here. We loved loved it last time so there was no way we'd stay anywhere else. The landlady is very kind and cannot do enough. It was like coming home when we all saw her again. It's not in the old town. It overlooks the new port. The old town is a short bus ride away (number 8 bus) The apparents are well equipped and the view from the ones overlooking the port are stunning. Perfect way to start and end the day.
The family who own the Victoria Guest House make you so welcome. We w.
The owner was very hospitable, and kindly offered to pick us up and drop
us off at the bus station during the beginning and end of our trip. Our
bus was one hour late in arriving, yet the owner was still patiently
waiting for us at the station when we reached, and even offered us
orange juice to combat the summer heat! She showed us all the
attractions on a map and told us how to reach the attractions. Also,
nice pizzeria, bakeries and grocery store a stone's throw away from
the guesthouse, con.
I highly recommend Guesthouse Victoria, It is a lovely place to stay, very nice and clean, the owner and her staff will take care of everything you need! The apartments is very cozy with split air conditioned.
She is very kind and will make the best of your stay!!.
It is nera the Old Town-we walked on foot. Everything is near and the room has very good view at the sea. The landlady was very kind and polite. She offered us fresh orange juice at our arrival. She speaks english very well.
Room and bathroom were clean. Staff was very friendly and useful. Permanent access to the fridge.
Beds were comfortable. Quite easy connection with the Old City.
The owner is very friendly, the rooms are large and clean, the bathroom is enormous. Make sure you get a room with sea view, the panorama is fantastic.
the apartment was very nice and cozy
the owner is really sweet and helpful.
Great view from the balcony sitting on comfortable chairs and coffee table. Good wifi signal. The room was spacious and clean every day. Useful kitchen shared between 3 rooms to prepare coffee in the morning (the kitchen provides also the italian coffee machine). Good value for money compared with the expensive hotels in Dubrovnik. Nice owner, she took moneys (only cash, euro or kuna) at the end of our stay.
1. Food was salty (very salty - for our taste). We did not eat the fish, so maybe that is better;
2. The travel card (bus card) needs to be perfectly straight otherwise it will not work and you will end up in paying more for travel (do not keep it in your pocket).
The bathroom is outside next to the room but it is private - we had a key. This is the only disadvantage but it si very very clean.
Everything was ok.
Quite far from the city centre and beaches. On the other hand, it's just one minute away from the bus stop.
Our room had private bathroom but outside in the common corridor. No hairdryer but I didn't ask for it; maybe the owner can provide one. The Gruz harbour is just 500 meters away but to go all in steps (very tiring with luggage). Better to take taxi for 10 €. The guesthouse Victoria is pretty far from city old town, mostly on uphill road: taking bus n.8 requires to wait a bit because it runs every 30 minutes (last trip at 00:30).
