  A great hostel just down the road from their sister hostel. 5-10 minutes walk from the Bell tower and central sights. Very helpful staff and free tours and activities every night arranged by the staff. We did the tour to great goose pagoda with the fountain show which was loads of fun! Some noise from the street but to be expected. A - A great backpacker haven (a welcoming bar area with wifi serving beer on tap, hookahs, and western food) that also provides the comforts and cleanliness of a no frills budget hotel. Location is very central within 15 minutes walking distance to the Bell Tower, subway station, and Muslim Quarter. The staff helped plan our Xi'an visit, while a lot of travel info is also posted in the common areas by the staff previous guests.

  This place exceeded my expectations in almost every aspect. It is located within the city wall so it is convenient to walk to some of the tourist places. The staff was naturally friendly and helpful. They gave me really useful tips for my trip in good english. The rooms are cozy and clean, the restaurant has good and unexpensive food.   A lovely courtyard hotel in Xian, conveniently located near the south gate so easy access to city wall activities. Room was clean and bed was very comfy.   The hotel is very neat and the atmosphere is great. Personal speaks a good English and if helpful to everyone. It is possible to order a taxi via hotel or they offer the "pick up" service at every railway station for free. Rooms are very nice and nicely designed. It is calm and relaxing place. We tried both a bit and were very peased with the food quality and price too. I strongly recommend this - The staff was quite helpful with directions and communication was right from the start (before my arrival). Prices were fair (they did not rip you off with towel rental, pick-up service or to wash clothes, like other places I've seen in China) and the place was very easily accessible to the train station and the downtown area - just a few minutes walking. Excellent location and value for the money. Highly recommended!

  this cheap hotel is very nice with a good location (the center or the train station is 25 min with bus). the manager is strange but nice. we arrived at the hotel at 2 a.m. and we had no problem - It was really affordable, and the owners were extremely helpful and nice. Especially when we asked for directions and change of rooms.
