The location is pretty central once you manage to find the hotel. Make sure you have the address in Chinese as no one can help you otherwise.

No English at all. They tell you things in English but they make to sense, espcially something about the shower. Just ignore them, we had no problems.
It's definitely a 1 star hotel. It's very very basic. Make sure you can speak Chinese as no one speaks English at the hotel.

google maps and booking had both wrong location of the hotel. Look for "friendship hotel, xian" in google maps and you will find the right location.
Bathroom door wouldn't close. Also bathroom was clean but made not good overall impression. Staff doesn't speak English, they have this big book of translated Chinese sentences and just point what they want to say... It's not easy to find the hotel, it's between a shop and restaurant but no signs...

It was not clean at all, the bathroom was smelly and very dirty, the shower has no separation in the floor from the rest of the bathroom so everything gets wet when you take a shower.

Front desk staff did not speak any english, the decoration in the rooms was very tired, and the bathroom was dirty and had a broken shower head. Probably nice in its day but not anymore!.
The room was very very dirty. Is in a poor condition with many things not working correctly. The sink leaked all over the floor, the toilet did not flush well. There were no fire alarms and some of the electrics buzzed when turning on and off.

The rooms were dirty. The bed was wood under the sheet not mattress.
The hotel was very bad and the rooms had a bad smell. The bathroom door was rotten and was smelling.
