  Really like the place, real Beijing feel. - By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis. For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel.   The staff were incredible, they were great fun and really made us feel at home. The manager was very helpful and made it easy for us to plan our trips and get around with all of his advice. The great wall tour that they provided was excellent away from the touristy locations it was a great experience. The location was good just a 10minute walk from tian'anmen squa - The location is perfect, just 10 min walk away from Qianmen and Tiananmen Square, you can also find subway and bus quite easily around there. The cafe bar is really nice, good place to meet friends. Beds are pretty comfortable, I stayed in a 14 bed dorm, quite a big room, not crowded at all. The A/C works well, hot water 24 hrs, and oh! the bar opens 24 hrs as well, which is a bonus! The price is quite reasonable in Beijing, esp at central area. 4 Stars Recommend

  Good location near subway, good prices - Staff was good and generally helpfull, although the coudn't order any tickets unless you went to the travel agency that the hotel runs (same pricey tours that every tout agency in Beijing offers)

The room was simple but clean, the towels were changed every day. The hotel has also a very cosy bar/restaurant area, mainly used for breakfast, and one or two computers are available if you need to use the internet.   We arrived in Beijing at 1am in the morning but due to difficulties with the taxi driver finding the street this hotel was on we didn't actually check in until 2.30am. The neon/lighted sign outside the hotel does not read "Beijing Jinxiu Courtyard Hotel" in the english written section however the chinese section does have that name so there was a ... ce que les gens disent » bit of confusion as to whether we were at the right place but luckily some locals helped us out. The staff don't speak a great deal of english though - the station is very near to railway station. it's convinent. beautiful yard. special building style. classical.

  Situation et proprete - L'hotel est tres bien situé dans Pekin : 10 minutes de la cité interditeet de la place Tiannmen. Le petit dejeuner est un peu cher pour le pays,mais tres copieux et permet d'attendre le repas du soir. Le personnelest très serviable.

Of course, as it is based in the center of the city, near the main square there are always a lot of visitors, so it is not so new, it's rather old, but still very clean. And that's very good.   Shi Lin from the hotel's 'Beijing Daily Tours' was incredibly helpful both organising tours and even just helping out with questions I had about the city and writing down names of places in Chinese for me. The room was secure and had a good shower. - loved the location of the close proximity of all Sightseeings. You can walk all around.
