Local busses and Airport busses stopped at end of the Hotels Road (along main road) and short walk from subway staition. The selection of food at breakfast was Excellent.   For me this was a unique experience. Loved the 'totally tropical' vibe. Room 6 was a wonderfully large, airy, comfortable space in which to relax and recharge after hectic days in downtown Rio.   All front desk staffs speak good English. Since this is a business hotel, rates on the weekend was cheaper than the weekdays. Use a yellow taxi if you go to tourist spots. They are honest and you pay by the meter. I used a car service that hotel offers when I visited steel plants that are far from the hotel. It is safe near the hotel. People outside the hotel don't speak English. - Great location if you want to hang around in Lapa. Very close to the metro station so you can easily go to Copacabana and Ipanema as well. Location, 50m to Copacabana beach and 150m to Ipanema beach. - Very clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast buffet and very helpful staff.
